The Saltburn Snowdonia Friday 18th June 2010 - Monday 21st June 2010
Saltburn to Llandudno, 3 nights bed & breakfast in Llandudno, 2 course meal outbound and return, classic Pullman Carriages and great scenery.
The Saltburn Snowdonia - July 2009 Well its back home after what we hope has been a very enjoyable weekend to Bath, from us all at Saltburn rail tours we hope you have enjoyed yourselves. While putting some of your luggage on board we thought we heard Jingle bells coming from one of the cases! So the question is, how many of you are going to own up to going into the Christmas shop in July?
As for next years excursion we are off to the very picturesque town of Llandudno on the Welsh coast,

Rob and I visited the town earlier this year and booked 2 Hotels on the sea front overlooking the palm trees and pier,
“The Imperial Hotel”
“St Georges Hotel”
Both hotels offer splendid accommodation as well as been only a few hundred yards apart from each other, we sampled food in both hotels and couldn’t fault it, one of them also has a pool and sauna, so its first come first served if you want that one. We are laying on an Excursion, so it has to be to Snowdonia as that is what we are calling the train, this will be probably on the Sunday, but there are numerous places to visit and see i.e. The Great Orme Tramway in Llandudno, Ffestiniog light railway, Caernarfon, Port Mahdog, Port Merion (The prisoner), to mention just a few, all of these can be reached from Llandudno station. We will try our best to keep the price right for everyone, but I think we have set a precedence to keep the standard as it is and not fall below it. The problem we had this year was the price of Diesel increased dramatically and we had to pay the price at the time, but when it was lowered it was too late, also the hotel prices rose to meet their cost but once again when the VAT was lowered not all of them were willing to lower the price, some did but then they put the price of rooms up so we were in a no win situation. We hope to see you on next year’s trip for what we hope will be another success; if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask us.
Best wishes to you all, from Rob, Paul, Mike and all involved with Saltburn Rail Tours.
