Saltburn - Isle of Wight

Here we are again, with news of our next trip. After much deliberation, and after the success of last years trip to Fort William, we thought this year we should go somewhere completely different. So we are off to visit the Isle of Wight.

The train will depart Saltburn before calling at Middlesbrough then we are non stop to Portsmouth, where we will be met at the station by a fleet of coaches who will transport you and your luggage via the car ferry. Once on the Isle of Wight the coaches will take you to your hotel.

We have several different hotel options this year; something to suit all budgets and tastes from small boutique hotels to larger superior standard hotels which include Spa´s and luxury suites with sea views!

Prices include all travel to and from your destination; a two course meal with wine on both the outward and return journey and your accomodation on a bed & breakfast basis.

The price ranges from £385 to £435 per person with extra supplements payable for sea views, suites etc.

As ever, on the Sunday we have arranged an optional excursion. After discussion with the local tourist information, we have decided to provide a coach tour of the Island, with stops at the local landmarks and tourist attractions. There will be time to explore and grab a bite to eat during the day, at which ever stop you wish.

The price for this excursion is £16 per person, to include pick up and drop off at your hotel, and coach travel.

SALTBURN RAILTOURS STRONGLY ADVISES ALL PASSENGERS TO HAVE ADEQUATE TRAVEL INSURANCE COVER, AS REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF THE TRAIN NOT RUNNING.
