Locos & Roling Stock
|
 | Pullman Coaches First Class Pullman Coaches are used on all of our excursions, offering superior quality with in-seat service. This example is one of our "Pullman" coaches from the Manchester Pullman set, originally built in 1965. | | | | First Open This example is one of our "first open" coaches, that was refurbished earlier this year, and is typical of the quality of all of our rolling stock. | | | | Dutchess of Sutherland This loco was used on the Preston to Chester leg of the 2004 tour, and is one of the last Coronation class locomotives. | | | | Class 47 This loco was used to St. Austel and Inverness as can be seen from the headboard. On every occasion this class of locomotive has performed impeccably, this possibly being due to West Coast Railways good maintenance. | | | | Class 57 This is one of a few refurbished class 47 locomotives, now designated class 57, and is owned by West Coast Railways, and was used on our Chester excursion. | | | We use excellent quality rolling stock, which is provided by West Coast Railways, who are famous for the Hogwarts Express, used in the Harry Potter films.
